We visited the Zrkadlov\u00fd h\u00e1j Cultural House in Bratislava, where the Ko\u0161ice folklore ensemble <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/omladina.sk\/\">OMLADINA<\/a><\/strong> presented their production <strong>\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/omladina.sk\/repertoar\/tarhi-laski\/\">Tarhi laski<\/a>\u201d<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p><em>OMLADINA<\/em> is a group of former dancers, musicians, and singers from Ko\u0161ice and the surrounding area, united by their love for folk art. It is composed of mature individuals with youthful enthusiasm, proving that a passion for folklore knows no age. We are all the more pleased that our Ko\u0161ice Executive Director, <strong>Rudo Baran<\/strong>, is behind the founding of this ensemble, while our Service Department Director, <strong>Miro Hn\u00e1t<\/strong>, also performs on stage.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The performance <em>\u201cTarhi laski\u201d<\/em> was not a traditional folklore show. It was a powerful combination of folk dance and storytelling that drew us in from the very first moment. It featured a compelling plot, emotions, humor, and more serious themes such as war and human weaknesses. A subtle touch of female emancipation gave the entire work a contemporary dimension.   <\/p>\n\n<p>Colleagues from <strong>ABC KL\u00cdMA<\/strong> and <strong>PM Services Slovakia<\/strong> truly enjoyed this evening. It was full of energy, emotion, and great performances that left a strong impression on us.
